The Champlain Philharmonic will open their spring concert on Sunday, March 29 at 4 p.m. at Grace Congregational Church in Rutland with my Fanfare in B Flat, written in 2015 as a commission in honor of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s 80th anniversary. Also on the program is music by former Vermont composer Gwyneth Walker, Lee Johnson, and Dvorak’s New World Symphony.
