A celebration (?) of everyone’s favorite season and the rather squishy way it arrives in Northern New England. The program features the cantata Springtime on Funen by Danish composer Carl Nielsen, and the premiere of Mud Season in Vermont by Vermont composer Erik Nielsen, along with folksongs, classical works, a showtune, and a tango, all examining spring from different perspectives.
