TEACHING/MENTORING

I have taught music for many years. Since 1999 I have been involved exclusively in teaching and mentoring composition and music theory. I have worked with organizations like the Connecticut Interdistrict Grant Program and the Vermont MIDI Project. I am currently involved in creating a series of podcasts devoted to various elements of composition. Although aimed primarily at advanced middle-school or high school music students, my hope is that these podcasts will also appeal to anyone with an interest in and a little prior knowledge of music.
